Welcome to Sunrise Country Club's new tennis pro! 

Jai Nettimi, a full-time resident of the Coachella Valley, is originally from southeast India and has spent the last 24 years in the United States

 As a junior, Jai was one of the top players in his country.  After moving to the US he played college tennis for University of California-Santa Cruz where he won back to back NCAA titles in 1995-1996.  Prior to UCSC, Jai attended College of the Desert where he won the California State championship in 1992.  Jai played on the ATP satellite tour before deciding to settle down as a full time resident in the Desert. 

Jai's current passion in life is his family.He is married with two young boys, Tyler and Lucas.  Jai is a committed member for the Desert Tennis Community.

 

Sunrise Country Club boasts one of the most well established tennis clubs in the entire Coachella Valley area. 34 years of experience and still rated as the “best tennis program in the desert”.

Men, women - - young or old - - novice or expert - - you’ll find your comfort zone as a player/member at Sunrise. Our Tennis Director, Phyllis Ivey has been with Sunrise for over 25 years. This season she will be assisted by Barbara Young and Simone Butcher,
